The Homeless Flea Title Card - ID: maymgm17025

A very rare original title card cel and background from the MGM Studios animated short, "The Homeless Flea" (1940). Featuring fantastic imagery of the main title and the titular character, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears at the beginning of the short. Title cards are rare to find as there is only one per production, and many pieces from this era were not saved. Measuring 16" x 18.5" framed, and the image itself measuring 9"x11.5", the piece is in excellent condition and is a true animation gem.
